Horses: The Great Teacher

Looking for a fun and educational activity for your child this summer? White Fences Equestrian Center offers exciting horse riding camps for kids of all ages and skill levels near Austin, Texas. Our camps are designed to foster a love of horses, build riding skills, and create lasting memories.

What Your Child Will Learn

Our horse camps offer a comprehensive learning experience, covering a variety of equestrian skills and activities:

  • Riding Fundamentals: Proper warm-up techniques, riding position, and effective use of aids.
  • Dressage Introduction: Basic dressage concepts, practice tests, and an introduction to musical freestyle (riding to music).
  • Cross Training: Cavaletti work, jump course design, trail riding and caprilli lessons.
  • Horsemanship Skills: Understanding horse behavior, grooming, and basic care.
  • Teamwork and Sportsmanship: Working with others, friendly competition, and supporting fellow riders.

Beyond Riding Skills

Horseback riding teaches valuable life lessons that extend beyond the saddle. Our camps help children develop:

  • Confidence: Overcoming challenges and achieving goals builds self-esteem.

  • $350 for three days
  • Hours: 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Deposit Required: $150
  • Office Fee: $25
