Dressage Instructor & Trainer - Expert in Rider Position, Alignment, and Classical Dressage

With a passion for horse riding since childhood, Emily has become a highly respected Dressage instructor and trainer with extensive experience in both Hunter/Jumper and Dressage disciplines. Since starting her riding journey in 2004, Emily has honed her skills and found her true calling in classical Dressage, where she excels in developing harmonious rider-horse partnerships.

As a dedicated Dressage teacher, Emily focuses on helping riders improve their skills with kindness and compassion. She specializes in rider position, alignment, and developing key elements of Dressage including rhythm, suppleness, contact, impulsion, and collection. Her patient approach encourages riders to build confidence and motivation while achieving success in their training.

Emily is the proud owner of two exceptional horses: Santana, a 2010 Hanoverian gelding, and N'Abèlle, a 2019 KWPN mare. Santana and Emily have enjoyed a successful show career, earning multiple victories at US Dressage Finals and Regional Championships. Emily’s ultimate goal is to train Santana to Grand Prix level and achieve freestyle bars, showcasing her commitment to excellence in the sport.

Emily’s dedication to growth and learning is evident through her ongoing lessons and clinic participation with renowned mentors such as Jeremy Steingburg, Charles de Kunffy, and JJ Tate. She is currently working on her L program and earned her Diamond Diploma from the USDF University in 2024.

For those interested in learning under her expert guidance, Emily requires students to commit to at least six lessons per month to ensure consistent progress.
