Assistant Dressage Instructor & Trainer
Amalia comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience. She started riding in California at a young age focusing primarily on western disciplines. When she later moved back to Texas she immediately started looking for a way to become plugged into the horse world, which is when she found a therapeutic riding center for special needs, at risk youth, and veteran students to come and focus on the healing power of horses. She quickly became involved in assisting in teaching lessons and then took over the role of the conditioning team manager. Amalia Spent 3 years helping those in need really tap into their passion for horses, which is what she plans to accomplish here at White Fences Equestrian Center. She started a program dedicated to building a community of young equestrians who love nothing more than being around horses. “Horses fill a void we never knew we had.” Amalia has now decided to pursue her coaching and training career full time. White Fences is very excited to welcome home as a full time trainer!
